[Publish] Do even more with Buffer Publish using Zapier and IFTTT

Summary

Buffer Publish is integrated with both Zapier and IFTTT (If This Then That). These are both web automation tools, described as the "glue" that connects hundreds of other web apps. In both tools you're able to create workflows (known as Zaps in Zapier and Applets in IFTTT). These workflows start with a trigger, which is an event in an app which kicks off the workflow, and end with an action, which is an event that's completed automatically in a second app.

Many of the same automations can be achieved using either Zapier or IFTTT. One important key difference, which tends to be a deciding factor for many users, is that you can only connect one social account to an IFTTT account. You can read more about this here.

Automation ideas

Both Zapier and IFTTT have a ton of templates that you can tweak and use, or you can create your own from scratch. Here are a few examples of things you could automate using either Zapier or IFTTT.
