[Publish] Facebook security check when scheduling posts
There are occasions when you might come across a "Security Check Required" message from Facebook within the link attachment generated in the Composer. In these cases, the link attachment would also be missing the title and description.
If you're scheduling a post via the web dashboard, we recommend manually updating the title, description and image with the details you'd like to include.
If you're scheduling a Facebook share using the Browser Extension, we recommend using the Buffer link that appears beneath the post, rather than clicking on the Buffer icon at the top of your browser. For more context on this, when we try to share a link to Facebook using the Extension, we try to scan the page and pull the relevant title, description, and image for you. In some cases, Facebook will put up a security wall that blocks Buffer (and most other third-party apps) from pulling the relevant information, which is what causes the "Security Check Required" message to appear.
